One of the finer moving coil phono stages available. Excellent performance and sound quality. Mates best with moving coil cartridges with lower internal impedance. Such as Audio Technica, Ortofon, Dynavector, Koetsu, or Lyra. Of course there are certainly others. Will require XLR connectors on the tonearm cable. Uses either XLR or RCA cables on the output side going to the preamp.

This is the Stereophile review that tells the story of the MCCI phono stage. This is the model below the one I am selling. The ULN(ultra low noise) has even greater low level detail.

This component started as a Signature model, but the owner sent it back to the factory for the ULN update. You can see the invoice in the pictures. The only difference is this one has metal side panels instead of wood. Performance wise it is remarkable. I used it with an Ortofon Verismo and a Transfiguration Audio Proteus.

These current injection designs want cartridges that are 15 ohms or below for internal impedance. Ideally below 10 ohms. So this is a great match for a Dynavector, but not a Denon DL-103.

Do not have factory packing, but comes in a large box with a closed foam clamshell. It will be very well packed. There are no major marks, no dings, and is in proper operating condition.
