I have noticed that the M130 Bravo driver has probably the best spectral decay of all the drivers but the M165NQ driver is a next level up driver.  Besides the fact that the M165NQ driver is a larger driver what makes it a level up driver.  What do they do differently?

That NQ driver has a more advanced and much more expensive 44 mm voice coil on a solid Aluminum phase plug. Everything is then Copper coated and Copper shorting rings are added below the voice coil. The motor design is much larger too. The parameters are also designed specifically for open baffle applications or large sealed boxes.
