How does this differ in actual implementation or results from Lyngdorf Room Perfect?

The dspNexus is a 2/8 style DSP and DAC Control center for a system that can be either for original speaker correction and room bass management or up to 4-way stereo DSP crossover for multiamp output with the speaker in-room frequency response corrections.

We use REW for the in-room measurements using the dspNexus 2/8 and use its filter generation capability for the corrections at the listening seat with a calibrated mic the owner supplies.

Danville supplies the dspNexus with DAC options. The unit that Vance tested used the standard AK4493SEQ DACs which are good, but not our best.

The most popular configuration now is based on AKM AK4499EX DACs. IMHO, these are the best semiconductor DACs available. If I thought something else was better, I would use those.
FWIW, I do not follow the reference design circuit suggestions for the supporting circuits and I think we get better results.

Obviously, everything starts with good ingredients.
