Hello,

New member on AudioCircle, a little word of introduction is necessary

My name is Fabrice, I live in France and I am 51 years old. I am a sound technician in a radio station, DJ on weekends when possible and can't live without music!
I have been an audiophile since I was quite young. With my first wages, I first bought a full Technics system in separate elements. Then I had several systems as I gained experience, met people and made purchases. My penultimate system was made up of high-efficiency speakers. Until the day I discovered the PMC brand.

I came across the PMC brand by chance... a pair of LB1 speakers placed on the ground in the street, they were going to go in the trash.
The cabinets were in bad shape but the speakers seemed ok. I took them home and connected them to my amplifier. And it was a revelation! How such small boxes could deliver such music and such a level of bass from such a small speaker.
I fell in love with the PMC sound and my future system was bound to go in that direction.

My current system:
- Technics SL 1200 MKII / Denon DL 110 / Project Phono Box RS + Power Box RS Phono for vinyls
- TEAC UD-701N + subscription Qobuz or Daphile connected to a NAS for reading my FLAC files
- Bryston 4B3
- PMC Twenty5.26i
- symetrical cables Grimm TPR or Vovox Sonorus Direct S between the Teac UD-701N and the Bryston 4B3
- Van Damme 6mm Hi-Fi Speaker Cable UP-LCOFC or Mogami W3103 6mm between the Bryston 4B3 and PMC Twenty5.26i
- Supra LoRad 2.5 MKII power cables

I joined the forum to discuss an unresolved "hum" problem with my Bryston 4B3 amplifier, see if there are any discussions around PMC and to learn from your experiences.

See you soon !

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
