Received a Kora Hermes 24/192 (cs43122-ks) DAC a week ago.  It was fast becoming my favorite DAC after a week's burn in.  However, it started producing nothing but static.

Here's a video sound clip of what the static sounds like.  Can someone tell me what might be wrong with the DAC?

emailed steve sanks at talking dog and he gave me a suggestion on a fix which turned out to be the right solution.

one of the boards that holds the dac and receiver chip has either oxidized pins or is loose.  just disengage and reengage fixed the issue.
