Moth Audio series 30 phono:
I found this on eBay but it's not the Moth I was thinking about.
I lusted after Moth stuff back in the olden days but it was Moth out of California.
This is Moth Group of the UK. The series 30 stuff was designed by Stan Curtis of audio fame.
Unsual configuration but the amp, pre and phono all look like this.
I recapped it seeing it at last 30 years old.
Sound wise, it's sounds great!
I had a wow moment when I first powered it up which says something as my regular phono stage is a Modwright PH9.0XT.
Doing a search it seems it's a Euro only component and mine did need a 220v step up.
I only paid $200 for it and it was well worth it!
Maybe I can find the other two in the series and make a second system.
