Thinking of buying a used Transcendence 8 Tube Preamp but it is not configured for use with a remote. Can it be retrofitted?

Not easily or inexpensively. Would require new remote motor driven control, receiver circuit board, plus modifications to chassis, faceplate, and power supply.

Better to just buy a new T10 RB preamp where remote volume is standard.

Thanks. Going to have to bite the bullet and buy the 10 RB I think.

Or this, when Tortuga is once again open for business after moving to Oregon:

I love my T8.  I've been tempted to up my game but I just love the tweak of the tone controls.
