Anybody use this like from CD player to a DAC then to the preamp?

I use it between my Yahama CD player and Monarchy DAC. It made a noticeable difference as soon as I installed it. It lowered the noise floor and improved the bass.
I use the balanced output of the DIP going to the DAC. I compared it to the toslink and digital coax outputs and balanced was the best. It's definitely worth the investment.

I'm trying one out as we speak between my CEC TL51X and a modded Lite Dac 60. Just got it in, I'll let you know my impressions in a couple of days.

Demands on your time? Shame on you for letting things interfere with your audio time!!
Got my DAC 60 with sonic craft mods today. So far I am impressed!!!

I'm sure if it has digital out and you're using it in stereo it would help. I'm not sure about surround. The owner, Dr Poon, is pretty easy to reach and very helpful. The phone number is on the website.
