For sale is a pair of Channel Island D-500 Mk II mono amplifiers in excellent shape.  They are extremely powerful and sound stunning.  I bought them to use with my Sound Lab A-3 speakers, but both amps quit working after a short while.  I sent them to Dustin Vawter, owner of Channel Islands, for repair and he replied: "I got your amps checked out...luckily the rail fuses prevented any real damage.  I can get them going again but wouldn't use them with the same speaker... it appears they exceed the current limit of the amplifier."  So buyer beware - do not use them with electrostatic speakers like mine.  They are as new in the boxes as returned to me - I dare not hook them up to my Sound Labs to test them but they should be perfect.  I can email a pdf of the rep[air invoice.  There quite a few reviews on these amps with different speakers that had no problems.
