I have a Gen1 Aston Martin DB9 Volante with the 950W Linn audio system. That system has been widely criticized, and I once had an email conversation with Ivor Tiefenbrun himself about it. He was quite passionate about it, and said the system that made it into the production vehicles was nothing like Linn initially designed. He was actually quite devastated by the experience and pledged that he'd never again get involved in any kind of partnership where he didn't have control over the final product.
Still, mine is still working well (and there's plenty of wood to knock on!).
