Hello, my interest is in hi res audio mostly.  I have a home theater system, but I really  love my 2 channel audio system. I am looking to buy a pre amp at the moment. I have built speakers from Danny Richie's GR Research for my home theater system.  They sound fantastic, and were a lot of fun to build.  I had to buy Sapphire M-3 speakers for my 2 channel system for space reasons.  They sound fantastic. I don't have to use sub woofers with them, because of the 15" woofers.  I use separates on my 2 channel system.  That's why I am looking for a preamp.  Thanks, tedjen

I will combine this topic with the previous you just started.

EDIT:
Decware CSP3 is a nice pre-amp with lots of gain IMO.
Maybe you like to consult this guide to buying a pre-amp before the purchase>
