Selling my Exotica 3s.  $8000 ask (or best offer), which is less than 1/2 of what I have in them ($15k new plus the crossover upgrades discussed herein).  They are done in sinker cypress veneer.  Located in Brooklyn, NY.  Can drive to deliver/exchange within a reasonable range.


The good:  They have upgraded crossovers.  They will come with the original crossovers as well.  I replaced the crossovers completely on new boards.  Jim shipped them with solen caps, copper airgap coils and mills resistors.  I replaced them with Jupiter foil capacitors, Jantzen wax copper coils and put in new mills resistors (same values).  The changes were mostly subtle, but there is more detail in the high end.  The subs have not been touched.  The caps, resistors and new coils were over $2k. 

The bad:  There are dents, dings and scratches in some places.  The cypress hides it well, but you can be the judge. Note that in the room there was very little you would notice.  Here I have tried to show all the damage as much as possible.

Bumping this up.  These are now at my upstate house near Rhinebeck, NY.  Willing to accept reasonable offers.  No trades other than potentially Nikon Z series camera body or higher end recent Nikon DSLR.  Have the lenses, just replacing my D7100.
