Hi, I have two home theatre system , and i am thinking of down sizing the up stairs system from 5.1 back to a 2 channel system using the BR-20 as the hub. Is anyone using the BR  for pass through video , If so how is it performing ? Also is anyone using the BR-20 as a Squeezebox client, and if so, how is it performing ?

I don’t have a BR20 or squeexebox, but I do have a pair of 2.0 home theatre setups.  One powered by a B60, the other a B100.  Why pass HDMI through a BR20? Does your TV not have enough hdmi inputs? I simply take optical audio out from the TV and pass it to the B100 via a small Topping E30 dac.  The other TV actually has fixed level rca outputs so no dac needed in the B60 room.

For music I just use an Echo device in each room that serves up internet radio, Spotify and SiriusXM.  I’m done fussing with ripped cds, NAS, media streamers etc.  The only missing feature for me is full remote capability on the B60.  Keeping an eye out for another B100.

Thanks that may work as well, depending how well , or perhaps  HDMI ARC . The device in question is a Nvidia SHIELD, and I am trying to keep the installation as simple as possible for my wife who does not enjoy technology as much as some of us do.. The SHIELD is used for all OTA and subscription TV as well as the common NETFLIX /PRIME and PLEX apps. The only other device is a Pi based squeezebox which has a coax digital output.
