Is the 14b3 good match with Focal Utopia Scala Evo lll?

Hi guys,

Im currently using ARC LS28 pre amp and ARC ref75se driving Focal Sopra No.2 for many years. Im going to upgrade the speakers to Focal Utopia Scala Evo lll and it needs more power. Ive got a good offer for the 14b3. So i took the plunge and ordered the 14b3. The pre amp stays so im going hybrid for the first time. Will the 14b3 serve the Focal Utopia Scala Evo lll well? Is it a good match?

I have no knowledge of the speaker match but I can re assure you from personal experience that the LS28 and the Bryston are a seamless combination.

Haven't had any chance to audition this combo because the local supplier does not have the 14b3 on demo.

I have an LS28 and 4B3...Totem Forest Signature speakers.....sounds great...good match.... as expected, slightly warm sounding with a bright speaker - from what I understand the Focal house sound is on the bright end of spectrum as well

That is the kind of results im looking for. With the ARC 75SE it can sound a tad bright on some recordings. I would expect a more warmer sound with the 14b3 hook to the scala evos. Well still waiting anxiously for these 2 to arrive as production are going to take a longer time because of the holiday season. Thank you PeterG.
