hello
Does anyone have experience with the bp17 cubed preamp?
Does it sound better than a bp26?

I have both…BP26 has a fuller sound in my system… not night and day diff but noticeable (3B3 amp…Totem Forest speakers)….very similar and both sound great….Totem Forest are bright so I run the BP26 to thicken the sound a bit)..17 Cubed is boxed atm

Thank you for sharing!
I have a 4b st series amp now. I want to buy a bp17 cubed preamp and see if the new salomon circuit sounds better. I have definitive technology speakers and I do like them but I am interested in this p17 cube.

Technically speaking, the BP-17 Cubed has lower distortion and is more accurate than the BP-26. (The BR-20 is an even later circuit design and is further improved.) The Bryston speakers I use along with a 2.5B Cubed amp are pretty flat so it sounds perfectly balanced to me. This stuff is so low in colorations that, for example, the various Beatles remasters sound vastly different from one another. I'm really very happy with the sound.

Thank you Jozesef!
I decided to go with the BP17 cubed preamp.
I am hoping this will work well with my turntable.
