Greetings All From Coachella Valley

Hello to All-

I'm a geezer living in an audio desert in SoCal. Although I've been active in Audio since 1968, I haven't been too active for 10 years or so.

Recently, I got the bug to have some single driver speakers. You know how these bugs arise! I mean i enjoy my Magneplanars but fire since reason this bug has arrived in my head!

I considered just buying some until i saw the prices!! Nah, I don't want to spend $5k on a whim. So, I'm looking at a build. I'm ta Great cabinet maker, ti do have the basic tools and some skill at fabricating. Since the bug just bit a few days ago, I'm surveying drivers that might be suitable. Any recs would be highly appreciated.

Looking forward to a new project!

I could suggest the best of this season IMO Lii Audio F15 or the F18 and you will get better soon or sound.

Thanks! I've been looking at that site for days now and the sale for the F15 goes to Nov. 10 I think. It looks like a good deal to be sure. I'm happy to hear a rec for it. I've been looking for people who have built something with it. No luck yet.
