For sale is an near mint example of the well-respected Elekit 8600R 300B amplifier.
I am the original owner. This amplifier was professionally built by an engineer/expert technician located in the Phoenix, AZ area. This amp was built with the following upgrades:
UPGRADES:
- Lundahl output transformers
- Jupiter coupling caps.
- Alps 27 volume pot
- Kiwame resistors in critical locations
- Cardas Eutectic solder use throughout.
- Chassis dampening.
TUBES:
The selling price includes two pairs of 300B tubes.
1. The first pair is essentially a brand new Cossor WE300B clone made by Linlai. I have less than 25 hours on this pair of tubes. These are wonderful tubes and are a clear step up in sound versus the Gold Lions.
2. Gold Lions PX300B. Although these tubes have more hours, they still play strong and have plenty of life left in them.
SOUND
This amp is well reviewed (see below for examples). There is not much more to say other than it is dead quiet, smooth yet detailed, exceptional imaging, an all-around awesome amplifier.

Since this amp started as a kit, there is no original box. However, I have sourced an ideal shipping box and have packed the amplifier with lots of foam for safe shipping. See the attached photos.
REASONS FOR SELLING:
I am moving my system into a new and larger room, which precipitated a change to less efficient speakers and a new 100W tube amp.
COST:
I am looking for $2400+ actual shipping costs. I believe the asking price is fair considering the upgrades, professional build, and two sets of tubes, but I will consider any reasonable offer. PP friends and family preferred.
