Wow. Quite a bizarre layout, lots of boards and a cooling tunnel too. I'd hazard a guess that there's six LC output stages towards the back near the fan, but the inductors look a bit odd. Any idea what that monstrosity is on the left side of the photo... transformer? Maybe Wayne can walk us through what's in this beast.

Do you have a pic of the back so we can match up things in proximity to the I/O?

Thx for the pics!

Hello again...

i came home last night and found the Right channel doesnt have any sound....so took out cables and replug them in...still nothin...so i took the Left channel cable and tested on the right...got sound...so i figured it was the cable...so i took out the bananas on one end and connected bare wire on both ends...got it ....somehow..i noticed that my original connection Left channel was crossed! (got the polarity wrong)    so i plugged everything made sure everything was ok and and re-ran MCACC and tested...

Voila!

I got the bass back!!

and i said Dam!....now this is the sound i was waiting for!

So I went ahead and tested Nora Jones cd...and playing it....she seems "larger" than i have ever heard her....details were still there more than before...but her voice was "larger"....( i remember from attending HE2004 and listening to some MBLs on exotic tube gear playing some Alanis tunes...that Alanis voice/presence was "very large"..kinda like a giant..not her voice mind you...but the image..(?)this is kinda the same i got) im sorry...i just dont know how to explain it....
Nora's voice was also better than what i had remembered...kinda like she was there in the room with me...(by a bit)

then i remember i had some Elvis cd's than i loved but didnt like listening to because it always sounded harsh on my old receiver. So i played it and then....the harshness was definitely minimized that it was almost smooth....Elvis voice even sounded...how shall i say...Holographic?...

Im going to get speaker pins and re-plug everything back in..(its hard to work with bare wire on this one...)...ill be happily playing some more tunes this weekend   :D
