Introduction - Flakey Pastry
« on: 7 Jul 2022, 06:09 pm »
Hello fellow audiophiles and music lovers.

It is a pleasure to be here and I welcome hearing from any fellow members.

My name is Roger and I am a long term audiophile and music lover.
I play bass mostly and dabble with electric.

Our home here in Calgary contains a number of audio setups:

Small upstairs system
Sony HAP-S1 HDD player
Triangle Titus speakers

Downstairs main system
Audio Research LS3 pre
2X Sumo Nine Amplifiers (modified)
Sony SCD-777ES SACD/CD player
Sony HAP-Z1ES HDD player
Wilson Watt/Puppy 3/2 speakers (modified)

My musical tastes run the entire gamut from classical to jazz to pop to ......

It is my pleasure to be a part of this group, thank you.

Welcome to AudioCircle Flakey.

Very nice system there. I am more than a bit envious of your Sony SCD-777ES SACD/CD player. Golden Age Sony technical statement player with all the stops pulled out for the launch of SACD. I wanted on of those battleships so badly, love seeing one still in use.

That's some tasty looking baklava Dieter, one of my favourites!

My thanks to you all for the warm welcome.

Fully agreed the 777ES is a bit of tank but it sure sounds wonderful!
