How to get rid of B&G logo on Tweeter Mount
« on: 10 Jul 2022, 06:46 pm »
I just finished these MTM speakers with GR M130/16's and a GRS tweeter in a B&G tweeter mount.  I'm quite happy with them but I want to get rid of the B&G logo on the tweeter.  Has anybody ever painted one?  I don't want to make it worse.

Try a black Sharpie.  If you don't like it, remove it with a bit of fingernail polish remover on a paper towel.

They are just printed on there. So a little carburetor cleaner (yes I'm a car guy) should wipe it right off.

You can also remove the face plates and paint them.

Oh yes, I've discovered the wonders of automotive cleaners in other applications. I've been using brake cleaner in my kitchen for years to remove baked on grease that no other standard kitchen cleaner seems to be able to handle.
