The chassis for these amps are already in route to be powder coated. The finish on my showroom pieces is going to be a durable, super high gloss piano black with two tone hardwood face plate.
As things are going right now, it looks like I should have a finalized unit up and running by the end of the month. The first to go into production (actually they will all be custom built to order) will be the 8 watt SET unit. I should have pictures available within the next two weeks. Ater this unit is finalized, I will finish up on the push-pull 25 watt 300B model
The first run will be very limited as we will be looking for some feedback prior to going into our larger second run. With so many inquiries on custom finishes, I have decided to keep this product as a "custom built to order" status. Only 3 units will be available for order each month with an average 30 day turnaround.
I am considering designing custom tube cages for these products but don't know if this will be a desirable option? I was looking at maybe a glass canopy? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
