:D this dac has a fantastic rep. My question is I have a dac made for the Mac mini , Eric's little dac that is getting old but still works and sounds great. Does a dac 4 or 5 times the price sound wayyyyyy better ? Just wondering. Not fanning a fire here. Just never heard a very very good dac and I do need to upgrade ,,,, thanks  :D

I’ve never heard or heard of the DAC you mention so I can’t comment on it or how much better another possibly pricier DAC may be in your system. You’ll have to make your own thread in the right Circle other than in my sales listing. Ask about DAC typologies, implementations, analog stages and their differences, as well as power supplies and parts quality differences. I’m sure you’ll get some good answers. But yes, good DACs can sound very good
