Unisound In-home Auditions
« on: 17 Feb 2005, 02:37 am »
Hello again Everyone,

I've been working with Unisound to get an "In-Home-Demo-Tour" going ASAP.

If any of you are interested in starting a chain of demos, let's get it going.

We'll pay for shipping to the first person who will listen to it for a week in his/her rig then pay for shipping to the next person in line.

I just want to know what speaker most folks are interested in hearing.  Look at the website: www.unisound.net and pick one out.  We'll get it out as soon as we have a list of folks to audition it.

Also for those of you interested in hearing any other Unisound model we'll be doing individual in-home-auditions for the price of shipping to and from your home.  So if you don't want to wait in line for an audition, we'll get you set up for your own personal one in your house with any speaker you like.  Price of admission is shipping.

These units are already broken-in as they are currently demo units at the Unisound Headquarters.  Any model you see on the website is up for grabs immediately except for the BE16 which will be here in April.

Let me know if you have any questions at all.  Just click the email button below and email me.

Thanks!~~~

 :D

Thanks Ryan ! I like demo tours....  :hyper: . Good looking speakers.....I noticed the
BE16......high efficiency  (94db). Might be a good match with those T amps.... :) [/list:u]

Yes the BE16's are great speakers with wide bandwidth, easy impedance load and quite high sensitivity; 94dB 1w/1m is really sweet.

They should be great with the "T amps" and I plan to test a pair out here with the Panny XR45 as well.  I will probably try and pick up the JVC F10 as well to have it on hand to test with all the unisound models.

My feeling is that speakers with benign loads and high sensitivity should be a good match for digital amps.

I'll post my findings about the XR45 and the BE16 when I get my mits on a set. :D  8)

Hi Ryan,
Thanks for making this opportunity for AC'ers.
I'd definitely be interested also. The BE16 looks like a good choice. Would you consider the best of your bookshelf selection?
The floorstanders look like winners too, but I think shipping would be cost prohibitive. Are they shipped from Utah? Is that in the USA?

Hey all,

I'm going to be doing an in-home-audtion-tour this month when the Unisound BE16's and SP18B's arrive.

I'm thinking a good 10-day audition should be sufficient and your only cost will be shipping to the next person in line.

I will need references such as here on AC , Audiogon and eBay feedback will work well too.  I reserve the right to not ship to those I don't feel comfortable with.   Money always makes me more comfortable but I want to keep it simple for folks and not have to gather safety deposits.

Anyone interested please email or PM me so I can put together a list.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks! 8)
