Good Morning,
I have a Bendix Eclipse-Pioneer 6189/12AU7 triple mica black plate tube that I have owned for probably 15 years. I bought it as NOS.
I used it for a very short time in an amp that only needed one input tube. I now have a DAC and also an integrated amp that both use pairs of 12AU7s.
This used to be my favorite 12AU7. For the past couple of years I have been trying to find a mate for it with no success. I now want to make one more attempt, or failing that, sell it.
With this in mind I wonder if anyone here is familiar with this tube and might know of a mate for it. I realize that it could be rebranded for Bendix and so another brand could be a match. I can post some photos if that might help.
Any thoughts?
