Hi All,

I have a pair of AV123 Strata Minis that I love. I am curious about how much more I can get out of them with upgrades. I also read there was a super tweeter option for them. Does anyone have any info on them? What upgrades are best?

I keep reading about the skiing ninja upgrade. I'd love to give it a try. Does anyone have any info on what the kits consisted of?

I upgraded the parts to my Minis before I ended up selling them.  Danny can provide the circuit.  The tweeter circuit needs the most help as it’s not the most transparent.  I would recommend Sonicap, Clarity CMR/MR. (Do Not use Clarity CSA/ESA) or any other brighter sounding cap.

They’re great speakers but have limitations that ultimately didn’t work for me.

It’s not difficult.  Just pull the amp off.

That circular planar tweeter is what prevented me from buying the Strata Mini back in the day, 15 years ago now..  What if B-G Neo 3 tweeters were in there (or GRS) instead with some classy caps.  The baffle would be difficult to modify to fit new tweeters, however.
