Magnepan Upgrade 3.7i

Magnepan is no longer offering the 3.7 to 3.7i upgrade. Your thoughts on the 3.7i and if it vastly improved over the 3.7. I have read many of the online articles reference this topic but at best just superficial. I was hoping to hear from actual owners who have experience.
