This is an excellent B&K Reference 5 S2 2 channel tuner/preamp, as nice as any you'll find. Very clean, no scratches or dings, and all functions that I've used work well.
It was B&K's best stereo preamp, built like a tank. US made. Sound is very good, using the sensitive, quiet tuner or any of the many other inputs. Much better sound than any current mid-priced gear, imo. Lots of connectivity options.
Very well balanced and clean with exceptional bass depth and a smooth, open soundstage.
I've included a brand new third party pre-programmed remote, which controls the main functions, including input selection, volume and power. All other functions can be accessed through the front panel. Owner's manual included as well.
$800 new around 2005. Huge value at my price.
