I’ve been without my tube amp for about six weeks. In the shop. What to do?
I dug my old NAD C352 integrated out of the garage and have been more than a little surprised by the sound with my M5s. The amp was bought in the early 2000 and boasts 85 watts. Paid maybe 500 for it new.
This convinces me how important speakers are in a system and how well these Spatials do with even an undistinguished mid fi amp.
I have a new tube amp on its way that costs 13 times the NAD. It’s not going to sound anywhere close to 13 times as good. FedEx has been unreliable lately. Damn thing is stuck in the high desert of CA. 😩
