Greetings. Decided to join this forum because I recently purchased Spatial Audio Labs' M4 Sapphire and the community around this brand here is vast.
My uncle got me into hi-fi several years back, and I've spent most of my time in the hobby using and reviewing headphones, but now that I have a more dedicated listening space in my home, I have put much more effort into my 2-channel system. Throughout the COVID era I've been trying several amps, DACs, preamps, etc. to keep things interesting. Haven't put much time into it recently, but I have an Instagram account and blog titled The Sound Apprentice where I share reviews and whatnot from time to time.
I'm located just outside of Chicago and hope to get back to some meets and shows in the future.
Current system: Audiolab 6000CDT, Schiit Modius or Berkeley Alpha DAC, Benchmark HPA4, Benchmark AHB2, Spatial M4 Sapphire or KEF R11. Other gear on hand, Threshold S/200, Schiit Vidar, Schiit Freya+. And a laundry list of gear I've sold or traded.
