I am a relative noob to the hobby (~6 months-but serious). I am a regular contributor on Head-Fi (100+) with this same username.
I started with a Sony WH1000-xm4 for work (noisy neighbors) and watching Joshua Velour intro to audiophiles videos.
Have appreciated the fine and detailed gear reviews here and at Head-Fiband @ Headphones.com (especially videos) as well as some by DNS Zeos Pantera, Chuckolatte and a few others on YouTube.

IFi Zen DAC v2 to Zen Can (regular)with either balanced 4.4s between or a Douk Audio P2 tube amp sandwiched between (with 3 tone controls- enjoy that combo a lot).
At home
Roon using a 2014 MacBook core —>Sonore 1.3 Microrendu->IFi micro iDSD
Recently added Hiby R8 as a portable DAP and loving that
Full size cans are the Sonys mentioned above, Drop 6XXs and 2020 Aryas
Home network is Google Fiber 1GB Wifi with 3 endpoints we hardwire for Roon
Recently added BlueSound Node and 3 Flex speakers as endpoints
iems are Thieaudio Monarch Mk2, Etymotic ER4XR, Ikko OH10 Final A4000s Jabra Elite 65t (bt) Apple earbuds for working out - had to mention the last pair as they were here before all the rest and they are still here
travel dac/amp is a Hidizs DH80s Dac/amp to use with iPhone when I am on tbe road along with the Sony’s as they pack up nicely in an after- market hardback zip-case
current issues
1. Looking for a TOTL HP amp- reading lots, currently the thread here on the Bryston BHA-1 (nearly there James)
2) figuring out how best to rip music from Vinyl -have a sizeable collection that are not readily available online
