I'm sorry, the Salks sold in 2 days and I forgot to mark this ad as Sold...thanks to all who contacted me.
As you can see above, I have a pending sale for the Salks. I want to thank all of you who looked and especially those who contacted me. They went fast, pretty much as I expected they might as noted in my Audiomart ad.
I will leave the sale as pending for a couple weeks as things get wrapped up and then change the ad to sold. If for any reason things don’t work out, I will relist with a new posting.

Your chance to own Salks at a more affordable price with most of the depreciation out of the way. Up for sale are my beautiful Salk Veracity ST speakers. Excellent Condition, 9 out of 10, 6.5 years old in medium curly cherry. As you can see from the photos they are finished like a piece of fine furniture that you will be proud to have in your home.
I’m asking $3400, local sale preferred* (within 400 miles from the Villages Florida 32163, I’m willing to meet you half way). New, these speakers sell for $4995 plus you would pay the shipping.
* I do not have the original boxes. I do have Salk Song3 BeAT boxes and packing materials which are slightly larger than the Veracity ST boxes. These are acceptable for local transportation or storage, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable using them for long distance shipment. The boxes are 15x19x51 and will fit through a standard attic opening.
If you would like to purchase the original boxes/packing from Salk and have them shipped to me, we can probably work something out to have the speakers shipped to you. I will accept Paypal if the speakers are shipped, otherwise I will accept cash.
How do they sound? They produce a dynamic, very large and three dimensional soundstage. With the RAAL tweeter, everything sounds really open on them; piano, trumpet, sax, strings, snares, voices are just outstanding. And with the two Seas midwoofers transmission line coupled, they can go low. They just make beautiful music which explains why they don’t come up for sale very often.
