Anyone compared the Arcam CD23 vs the new CD73 or CD192?

I have an offer for a used Arcam CD23 but I would not be able to audition it.  I read several comments about this CD23 with the dCS ring DAC that the new ones don't have, they have Wolfson DAC.  Some seem favorable and others less.

So, did anyone compare them side by side with the same components?  If so, which did you like most?

Many thanks.

Make sure it’s a ‘T’ version, not that the earlier non-T is bad just that the T version gets the improved Sony transport that not only reads CD-Text but reads any darn CDR you throw into it. It also has an improved main board, power supply and clock - all important. The FMJ CD23T was $200 more then the FMJ CD23.

Thanks much, I have to ask but in theory it's the CD23, not the T version!  :(

I also just got another offer that needs consideration! haha   Musical Fidelity X-rayV3 with X-150 integrated amp.  It would be a bit more expensive than the CD23 but the combo CD-amp may provide me an even better gain then just the CD23 with my receiver.

Thanks again for your point on the T version.
