The actual shade of the cabinets is slightly less reddish than that of the first four photos.  My guess is that the finish is light cherry. 

Gently used.  The finish is in very nice condition. 
The only flaw I've found is a small (1/8") hole in one of the grills.  I've showed that in one of the photos.  When the grill is on the speaker, it's not easily visible--because the baffle is black.  In fact, I didn't notice the hole until I removed the grill to photograph it.

I recently acquired a set of these for a bedroom system, and they are unexpectedly excellent. The review is pretty accurate. They have very heavy, well designed and finished wood veneered cabinets with very good Peerless drivers, designed by Michael Kelly of Aerial Acoustics.
Excellent value for this kind of $.
I'm looking to buy another set of these or D4s in rosewood, actually.
