Looking for recommendation on an integrated tube amp

I'm looking for recommendations on an integrated tube amp for some GR Research NX-Treme speakers. They are around 95dB efficient. My listening taste is to lean towards a warmer sound with the best soundstage and imaging I can get, with that silky smooth midrange. I do not like highly detailed/fatiguing or "bright" top ends. I'll be primarily hooking the amp to a DAC. One of my concerns is regarding hooking up subwoofers. My subs do have high level inputs, but would prefer the amp to have sub outs. I have been looking at:

Doge 10
PrimaLuna Evo 300
Raven Avian series
Willsenton R800i

The Willsenton does not have sub outs, and I can't find what seems like a reliable seller, but seems like it may be tremendous value and sound.

Has anyone heard these or have other recommendations?

I’m on the same hunt.
In addition to the Raven, I’m also looking at Rogers Fidelity 65v-2 and the new Line Magnetic LM-845iA.
Like the Willsenton, however, neither has sub outs.
Good luck! They sure don’t make it easy!!

Very happy with my Cary SLI-80.
Plenty of power for your speakers, I hear all the attributes you describe. I run 90 db sensitive speakers and have all the volume needed.
Has a line level sub out. Can tube roll to fine tune the sound you are looking for.
Decent used units can be had for <$2500. Shoot for the F1 version if possible.

I was looking at this today but I think my second set of Magnepan 1.7s might need more power, even in a small-ish room.

I added this to my Spatial M3 Sapphires. While it’s not considered to be warm it is “real”. For me it’s stunning.

Asman - that is an excellent suggestion! I'm adding it to my list. I don't see a great one for sale on the used market right now, but I like the look of that. It also has the subwoofer outs I'm looking for.

Bakufu - that line magnetic looks very nice, but I'm hoping to find something with subwoofer outs if possible. It doesn't rule it out, but I'm trying to find something that has them.

Audiosaurus - that Octave looks beautiful! Unfortunately, at 10k, I think it's more than I'm willing to spend! I might be willing to spend 4 or 5k - hoping for more like 2 or 3k.

There are three SLI-80's listed for sale on HiFiShark including one brand new one from a former dealer. The one on Canuck would be about 3/4 of the listed price with the currency difference.

with the best soundstage and imaging I can get,  I do not like highly detailed/fatiguing or "bright" top ends.

these 'attributes' have far more to do with the room and positioning of said speakers within, than any integrated you may choose.

Regardless, for the money and knowing it's made here in America I like Rogue .....

JackD - you are a wealth of information. You've helped answer a question or 2 of mine on the GR Research circle as well. Thank you! I didn't see the one in Canada. Unfortunately it says local pickup only. Maybe they would be willing to ship.

Twitch - I totally agree that soundstage and imaging have a lot to do with the room, but they also have to do with your gear. My room is treated as much as it can be - Complete diffusion front and back walls with huge bass traps in the corners and wall absorption on the side walls and ceiling. Now it's down to the gear!

Take a look at the Musical Paradise MP501 at roughly $1600.  It runs in single ended parallel and has plenty of power for your speakers.

If your subs are active, you can just use a Y cable from the DAC with 1 side feeding the amp and the other feeding your sub (or subs for each side).

I have been really impressed with his gear.  He does not advertise a lot and sells direct to consumers to keep his costs down.

I have purchased his pre and his DAC and the pre required a repair visit b/c of a faulty tube on my end.  The repair is in Canada so no need to send back to China.

His equipment is very underpriced for its performance although I have not used his amps / integrated.  Read around the web and you should see some very positive reviews.  Good luck and have fun!

Luxman SQ-150N...unique PP that uses El84 and you can change out the 12ax7 tubes to suit musical taste.....will definitely run 95db speakers...I have it running my Spatial Audio M3 Triode Masters and love it.....more than my SET Almarro......replacement tubes will not break the bank...

You might want to say where you're located, as there may be a few owners in your area. So many (apparently) good and cheap tube amps coming from China. Steve Guttenberg seems to prefer musical to detailed, perhaps check his reviews as well? I've owned a VAC Avatar integrated for about 20 years, EL34's with a triode/ultralinear switch, 30 watts, good luck!
