Muzishare X7 Integrated Tube Amp No Longer For Sale
« on: 25 Aug 2021, 11:55 pm »
I've decided to keep this amp. Makes for a great space heater in winter!

I bought this one year ago from Amazon this month. I've never had a problem with it, it works just fine. It comes with the OEM KT88 tubes, plus a pair of 12AU7 clear top RCA's I swapped in about 6 months ago. Not sure they make much difference, better ears than mine might know. The OEM 12AU7's will be shipped with the amp. Comes with the cage, basic remote that has volume up/down and mute, but no off/on etc. Very basic remote, but what more does one need in a remote?

This is the latest design, with a timer circuit that turns on the heater elements for about 30 seconds before power is applied to the power grids. Bias is adjusted easily via the meters on the front face. I checked the bias when I first got the amp, all four output tubes were dead on, and have only played this amp maybe 100 hours in a year, which is partly why I'm moving it out. The amp is in like new condition. It went directly from the packing box to the audio rack where it has resided for this past year. I never used the cage, no kids or pets in the house, and I'm a non-smoker. No funny smells.

Output is 25w x 2 in triode mode, and 45w x 2 in ultra-linear mode via 4 KT88 output tubes. The rest of the tubes consist of a pair of 12AU7's, one 12AX7, and the 5AR4 rectifier tube. More than enough power in triode mode to drive a pair of Salk Song Towers to as much volume as I want in a 14x18' living room. The ST's are 88db efficient and a 50-100w amp recommended. The signal path I used most often was from FLAC files on my computer to an Emotiva XDA-2 DAC via optical. It is a very good sounding setup IMO.

This amp also has preamp inputs, also known as home theater bypass, also known as direct amp inputs, allowing you to connect your AVR or preamp processor's preamp outputs (or any preamp) directly to the amplifier section. Can also be a stand-alone amplifier. What it does is bypass any processing in the front end (preamp) of this amp, the signal going directly to the amplifier section.

This amp currently sells for $1449 plus whatever sales taxes your state charges, usually about 8-9%. I'm asking only $1000 and free shipping via Zelle, or $1135 via PP and free shipping, no F&F payments please! The amp weighs #50 boxed so shipping isn't cheap. If you're close I can meet half way, up to 150 miles or so from zip 98823, and avoid the shipping charges. I don't mind a nice drive!

Thanks for looking!!!
