If you havent seen their Live at the Wolf Trap video, you are missing out.
It is fantastic and a great, high-quality audio recording if you love their music.
Highly recommended

I recently revisited my vinyl records they made back in the 1970's. They went through a couple changes in members but the quality of music remained. I particularly like the Captain and Me.

Liked them a lot before Michael McDonald joined the band.

Great band, saw them in concert in the late 1970's.  I was just listening to their greatest hits with my 30 year old son the other night.  He likes them too.

I loved them when I was in college ('72-'78), and still enjoy those first 7 albums a lot. Saw them live at Southern Illinois University when they toured in support of the Vices album, and they were pretty awful. Sloppy playing and singing and horrible arena sound. Still loved their records, though, until I started to lose interest around the time Minute by Minute came out. The songs just stopped appealing to me for some reason. It wasn't a McDonald thing, since Streets and Fault Line remain two of my favorites.

Doobs....one of my all-time favorite bands.  We've lost a lot of original members...but Tom Johnston is still cooking and sounds great in that Live at the Wolf Trap concert.  Wish I was there to enjoy them.

Their 50th (yikes) Reunion Tour is coming up and they're visiting the state to my north.  Unfortunately COVID.................................. ....

Saw them many years ago at the old Pine Knob (now DTE Music Theater) outside Detroit.  We had great seats in the 3rd row.  At one point, Patrick Simons came down off stage mid song guitar in hand, sat in the row right behind us, and jammed.  Lotsa fun that night.

Hey me too! Back in the (mid?) '70s. Maybe we were at the same concert!?
OP - Thanks for posting! Never did replace my Doobie albums with CDs. I'll have to check out the Wolf Trap if on CD, and others.

Not a huge fan but big enough that I have the Quadio box set and I just watched a documentary (VH-1 ?) on them about a week ago.

I'll make a note of this and see if I can find it somewhere.

Where did you find this video?
