Hey everyone,
This might be properly addressed to Danny but anyone who wants to chip in go for it.
I'm persuaded that Danny's right about open baffle bass and that the Rythm amp he offers is superior.
That said, open baffle speakers require a large enough room that they can be moved out from the front and side walls. Most people do not have large rooms that they can use that way, especially when the WAF factor is considered. I know Danny offers a sealed sub too but man that cabinet is big.
Decware's Wicked One Subwoofer Cabinet design might be the way to go. Steve sells the plans for $20. bucks.
"The Decware Wicked One is a compound horn loaded dual band pass design where each half of the box shares the same horn flare." The design can work with 12" drivers.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I see no reason why the Rythm amp and twin sub drivers wouldn't work with that design. What do you think guys?
