X-Statik second go
« on: 18 Aug 2021, 03:42 am »
This is my second time building this as I wasn’t happy with the first lamination.  This go around I plan on spraying the cabinets white.  Do you think stepping up to the new components and point to point wiring will matter over my Sonicaps to the factory crossovers?

It depends on what new components you're talking about.  Your crossover already looks like it Sonicaps in critical positions, so it's not a mid quality component.

Personally, I would only consider point-to-point wiring if you're also planning on upgrading to Miflex bypass caps as well.
P2P also take up a bit more space, and may also require multiple boards. The inductors & caps used on the mid & bass circuit are quite massive.
