System reconfiguration means my beloved Zenwave SL11 speaker cable don't fit any longer. I've used many cables with my Avalon Opus speakers, up to $3k/pair, and these were the cleanest, most transparent and with the best bass of any and I've happily used them 5 years, a long time for me.
My Avalons never sounded so good.
These are 48" from tip to tip, have over 1000 stands of litz wire per leg, are 11 ga., and have heavy rhodium plated Furutech FP-201 spades all around. Cotton covering/dielectric. Very flexible. Excellent condition.
IIRC, these were over $1000 when new, but have been unobtainium for some time. I don't think Dave made many 11 ga. SLs, instead recommending 17 ga., which I've also owned and briefly used in this system. It was clear to me that with my full range systems (Von Schweikert and Avalon) the 11 ga. were notably better, particularly in the bottom end power and control.
The current SL17G are $920 for 4 feet w/ FP201s, but are only 17 ga., and these are 11 ga., 4x the size!
