SINGLE ENDED 45 STEREO VACUUM TUBE AMPLIFIER OLIVER SAYES BUILD
I am continuing to clean out some equipment, so I have this well-built SE 45 custom tube amp for sale.
Price is $1250. I may also consider some trade (see below).
This amp was built by Oliver Sayes in 2020 and obtained directly from him (I can provide verification if needed).
The amp uses 2 45s as the power tubes, with 2 6J5 types as the inputs and a single 80 type as the rectifier.
45 is the only power tube that can be used in this amplifier due to limits with the power transformer, but a variety of 6J5 (6C5, 6P5, 6L5, 7193 w/ adapter, etc.) and 80 (5Y3, 6087, 6106, etc. with adapter) variations can be used.
The output is about 1.5 W/ch.
Physically and operationally the unit is excellent shape. The amp is still currently hooked up in my system, so the pictures are not great (but the unit is).
The amp is auto bias, and is about as close to plug and play as one can do with a tube amp. There are hum adjustments should that be needed.
The amp comes with a complete set of tubes plus an extra set of input tubes and an extra rectifier.
I can also provide additional tubes at a reasonable price to be negotiated.
I love this amp, but I have way too much equipment and the power output is just a little bit too low for my optimal use.

No fee Paypal is preferred, but I will absorb any Paypal fees at my asking price.
As indicated above, I will consider some trade, but frankly I have no specific needs. A higher-level gaming computer or parts (CPU, GPU, MB, SSD, RAM, display, VR, etc.) may be of interest (but not at overly inflated value). Especially of interest would be an RTX 3080 or 3080ti GPU. Tubes of interest include 5992, L63 (GEC tubular brown base), 805, 5Y3GB (Euro), 7731, KT90 (EI), a single like new testing Telefunken E88CC (Ulm factory, 1960 date), a single like new testing Brimar CV1985 brown base (KB/FB,1950s), a single Genalex Gold Lion D717 (NOS or at least new testing) and various other things at the right value.
