I am just getting back into audio after 10 years. I have both tube and solid state stuff. My gear is quite old. So old the the electrolytic caps are dried out. I got the Pass Labs Aleph P (with remote) and Alephs 1.2 running again, but need to order more parts to (hopefully) get the tube stuff up and running.
For the past 10 years I have been listening to music through a Marantz home theater receiver connected to an OPPO player. A friend of mine had given me his 1980 Tandberg reliever and suggested I listen to music using it instead of the Marantz. The music sounded better so I decided to try listening on the old music system. Glad I did.
I thought Audio Circle would be a good place to learn about all the new developments in audio.
