Introducing myself to the GR research family
« on: 23 Jun 2021, 12:04 am »
Hi, just introducing myself. I'm new to Audio Circle. I've been into audio since my early teenage years. A family friend had a high model JVC 4 channel system with a shibata cartridge on the JVC turntable  to reproduce the four channel tracks from some limited LPs at the time. After particularly listening to Dark Side of the Moon, I've been hooked ever since. My current system is an OAD Ultrafidelity CP1 preamp and a OAD Ultrafidelity UF1 power amplifier. I have home made Open Baffle H frame speakers. Just wanted to say hi to the group. I'm a great fan of GR Research and Danny and all of the informative details that go into speaker design. After listening to OB speakers, it's hard to go back to a box speaker.

Welcome!   I've been into video for decades (production, projection, hardware engineering), but only scratched the surface of audio and never hi-fi.   Someone mentioned "open baffle" for my new home theater where I'm doing most of the electronics stuff myself, and a web search brought me here.   The rest, as they say, is history.   :thumb:
