I have a friend who has a pair of Infinity RS6000 (three way, dual woofer, Emit Kappa tweeter, polydome midrange). The foam on the woofer need to be replaced. Does anyone know if these speakers are worth repairing? How good are these? What would be the market used value after they have been refoamed?

Thanks for any info,

Bruno

I'd check completed listings on ebay for a price. The foams are easy to replace of you can pay someone to do it. There's a number of speaker foam sellers on Ebay and the internet. I'd say the speakers are definitely worth replacing the foam on.  You should try it yourself as it's not very difficult. There's instructions for diyers with the foam kits.  To be truthful though you should probably send them to me. I will pay shipping and you won't have to worry about having too much weight in your garbage can. :D
