Hi all, taking advice of my fellows here, and waiting til I can unpack the amp carefully and confirm. I'll repost soon. I'm confident he amp is the Raphelite 6V6, as this is what is on the invoice from the amplifier servicing.

Thanks for the guidance.

Hi,

Amplifier is identical to the photos. 300B would be for a single driver tube - where a single 5U4G or a single 300B can be used as the single tube in the back corner. Swapping between 5U4G or 300B will require a bias change as I understand it, this is something I've not felt the need to do as I've been very happy with the sound.

This is 9W is pentode (push pull) mode and 3.5W in SE mode, please note, the toggle on the back.

Here are links with more info:

(this is not exactly identical, as mine has the optional U/V meters, but is good for seeing how the inside looks)

Thanks,

There is so much wrong here. The photos in your first post are of at least 2 different amps. This is in addition to what Plus what was mentioned previously.

In your reply to "opnly bafld" you reference an amp that has 5 tubes rather than the 9 from the first post. This could be SE but the amp in your first post is not

May I suggest that you remove this add, and start again. Maybe unpack your actual amp and take photo's of it rather than use replacements from the web. This would help clarify what you are selling rather than leave all of us wondering what you are selling.

Best, Alan

Hi, a single 300B cant replace a 5u4g. 300B is a single triode, 5u4g is a double diode rectifier or full wave. It would be need two 300b which is a expensive choice for the rectifier position.
