Hi Killian
I would like the 8' banana to spade. The Virtue set I believe. How should I pay? I work with Danny. I can call him or you. Thanks

Saw you called and placed your order. That's the best way to do it.

Thanks.

Good Evening, Killian:

Would be interested in the 12 ft pair of spade ends speaker cables (if still available) but am located in Ontario, Canada. Are willing to ship them up to 'We the North'? Also what method of payment. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Kingsley.

LATE ENTRY

These power cables were part of the development process for the new "B-16" cables.

We tried out 4 different ends. They were then sent around for some feedback and these were the ones that actually made it back to us.

The consensus at the end was that the clear ends were superior. (sold) But that the other ends still made for nice cables.

They are all 5 foot. They are all 6 wire braids, hand wound by me.

We are asking $125 for each.

Black "acrolink"
Have 2 of these.

Clear ends Sold to Hobbs. (If he's okay with me announcing that here.)

Translucent Red ends
Have two of these.

This is awesome!!!

Seeing how I’m fresh in the boat... please tell me a post exists for other items in the archives!? Speakers? Pre amps? How about speakers that need to be finished? Ha ha.

Awesome awesome. I’ve been digging into interconnects for a bit now. When I purchased some the other day, due to everyone being out of stock, I picked up a set of Kimbers Tonik.... the strange part was it was a special made cable for a customer never picked up. A Tonik Y cable! It’s 14+ ft lololol. I did pick it up for 75.00 flat... So, I’m going to unsolder the extra leg in the y and keep the cable for gosh knows.. I think I won that? Thoughts? Lol.

Was looking to see if you had any singles for subwoofers. Going to look over the post again and see if I can snag a set of speaker wires.... Yet I keep thinking I should sack up and get the new multi-strand wire you got. My guess if I ask you, you may say get the new stuff? Lol.

Thanks for opening the archives to us eager Hi-Heads.

I dont think the threads for the Speakers are quite ready yet, I know Danny has a pretty big collection of different speakers in his workshop/storage.

So i imagine that sale will be coming soon esp once a bunch of current orders are out the door and the necessary pictures are taken for each pair, and prices. Not sure about Subwoofers tho. Only ones i saw were the the pair of bookshelf sub stands. And I bought those back in November or December.

Hobbs is right here. We plan on tossing up some completed speakers for sale. We are getting caught up on back orders and what not right now. When we are on top of that...look for a fresh post that is a speaker garage sale!

There may also be a sort of odds and ends garage sale...but that's even further down the line.

I really like those B-16 prototypes. I believe I want the top unit, being clears are gone. Unless the red version has some advantage the naked eye can not see?

I think I’m buying the translucent red ones!  I told Danny I’d take the pair that he thought was better, I’ll see when they come.  I also bought a speaker cable kit!

I've only had a few hours to listen to mine so far, tho that should increase soon, now that one of my housemates has moved out and i can have my listing space back.

Do they make a difference? Yup! But most times I'm hitting a bottleneck, many of the songs I listen to regularly arent recorded/mixed/mastered in a way where there's much left to get out of them. Some songs that have a lot of fun spatial cues is where the power cords made the most difference, Rush's instrumental track "La Villa Strangiato" is a perfect example, where the scale of this song, not just in depth, but also in height are massive.
Another is "Write My Life" by Out of the Grey, where the first half of the song isnt particularly interesting, but at the end, the singer's voice sounds like its wrapping around you as it shifts around.
Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" is another fantastic piece to show where the differences lie.

I'm really excited to expand my personal library with new songs & higher quality versions, along with using more local storage to play music rather than over bluetooth.

But it's wild to find that something I knew would eventually beome a weekness, has finally become THE primary weakness... :o

Its been an incredibly interesting and fun journey, and im excited to see where it takes all of you as well!  :thumb:
