Friends, Romans, countrymen and countrywomen, I offer for sale a very rare pair of Bamberg Studio Reference/MMT Concept B speakers. Only one pair exists on planet Earth and you could be the next owner!

These are special for several reasons not the least of which the fact that they were designed and made by Phil Bamberg and the crossovers were hand built and tweaked by Phil.  They are a 2½ way featuring a pair of matching Peerless aluminum cone woofers with the lower one rolling in lower to supplant the bass.  Tweeter is a fantastic Scan-Speak that extends to 32 KHz  Bass is solid tight and deep 28KHz to 32 Hz.  Dimensions are 9"W x 12"D x 47"H  52lbs each.

They do indeed throw a wide and deep sound stage and have solid tight musical bass.  Excellent with jazz, small ensembles and chamber music.  Vocals are very sweet and pure.  Female vocals in particular seem to benefit.  The top portion of the front baffle is angled to time align the drivers and the edges are faceted to help with diffraction and smooth treble.  Also they come with a set of Soundocity outriggers that make these tall towers very stable.

Check out the original ad I have linked: Bamberg Thread on AudioCircle

I have boxes but they are not in great shape and I do not recommend shipping without adding serious reinforcement.  Asking $2000.  Located in 99336 and I am willing to help with relocating them in the Pacific Northwest.

Open to trades for audio electronics (tubed or SS), vacuum tubes, certain brands of cables, analog items such as MC cartridges and/or SME tonearms.

Thanks,
