I'm late to the party, I think, but I just got turned on to Dirty Loops.

What a power trio. How big can one voice, a keyboard, bass and drums sound? Listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_GTgpdoCh0
and for power funk with Richard Bona:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgfbjJZXbSU

Stevie Wonder meets Snarky Puppy. Good stuff but it's neither pop nor jazz nor prog. It's an amalgam of them all.

Looks like Jonah Nilsson is a key talent. His voice is well suited to emulating much of what Michael Jackson did, not to speak of Stevie Wonder.

Check out this live (in Paris) version of Jackson's Billy Jean, with Quincy Jones in attendance and a bass duet between Richard Bona and Marcus Miller.

It matches the original in intensity. Quincy produced the original with Michael Jackson, too, of course,

Gotta share two more: a Lady Gaga cover performed to an unsuspecting audience in Sweden, I think. This dates from 2015.

Apparently they formed in 2008 after they attended the Royal College of Music in Stockholm together.

This put them on the map in 2011, a cover of Britney Spears' Circus:
