Grado SR 325 headphones, original owner, very low hours. This is the BLACK model that is rarely seen for sale.
I bought these in 1993 or thereabouts and I'd be surprised if they even have 50 hours of use. Probably not even broken in.
They have spent most of their life in the box. About a month ago I took them out and put them in my listening room thinking I might be more likely to plug in and listen... but no action. I guess I'm not a headphones guy.
This is no kind of life for a well regarded set of phones, so they are now for sale.
When I did run them, it was through the original SOHA op-amp/tube hybrid headphone amp that was designed by Alex Cavelli and a number of other talented people, back in the old Headwize forum days (fun build!).
I don't see a mark on them. The headband is like new. No problems with the cable or plug. The ear cups have been replaced in the past year or two with genuine Grado parts. They are fine.
Includes the original box and the inserts - Limited warranty sheet and untouched registration card. The foam insert for the box is shot. I fab'd a replacement which will work fine. Will be very carefully packaged for shipping.
