FS: HDPlex PC/Server and HDPlex Linear Power Supply(LPS).
This is a fanless HDPlex H1.S PC that runs on 12vdc. It has 8Gb(2x4gb)Apacer unbuffered memory and an Intel low TMP CPU. The system board is an ASRock H87M-ITX. It runs barely warm in all configurations I have tried.
I have used this PC with several operating systems and configurations using Roon and JRiver audio software. I have run Roon Rock on it. I have used it as a Roon server with Windows Server
2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10 and also as a Roon Endpoint. Most recently I used it as a Roon endpoint with no internal drive but booting from an Audiolinux USB drive in ramroot(memory). It works really well in that configuration.
No operating system is included. The case will come with an internal bracket that accepts two SSD's so that you can optionally add a boot drive and also a music drive. If you use Audiolinux as a Roon endpoint you only need a USB drive to boot from and do not need an internal drive.
At the asking price for the PC/server with LPS I will include a 240GB SSD.The back panel includes two DC jacks which allows you to power the PC and also separately power two internal SSDs. Using the HDPlex LPS you can power the unit with 12v for the board and 5V for two internal SSD's. I have done this and it works well. The HDPlex LPS has 4 outputs:12v/19/5v/9v-adjustable
The internal photo of the HDPlex chassis shows the original partially completed build without the now included Apacer memory that is known to improve audio performance. A bracket is included for the SSD's as well as internal connectors and of course the DC to DC converter for the system board.
