Pristine pair of RBH SV-6500R’s in the piano black finish Original owner, purchased July 2016; original retail $4,150.00. Adult owned - used with care in a smoke free, pet free environment. These were the last of their kind - shortly after these were built RBH went to the AMT tweeter in their Reference line. Since then this model has been discontinued altogether. These have the Scanspeak 9500 silk dome tweeter which was used for many, many years in all their Reference models.
This tower model houses 6 drivers; 3 - 6.5” aluminum cone woofers handle bass duty, while the 2 – 6.5” aluminum cone reference mid-woofers (w/phase plugs), and the 1.1” silk dome tweeter (D’Appolito arrayed) handle everything else . The design, construction, finish & driver quality in these is superb. Their sound is full, smooth, exceptionally well balanced, and completely non-fatiguing. These have a single port in the rear, and like nearly all full range speakers, they benefit from some space. However, they’re flexible too; depending on your room, your roll-off point (if you use subs), and listening preferences – they don’t need to be 5 ft out into the room to sound extremely good. In my set up the front of the speaker was approx. 35” from the back wall and sounded great. They also have great horizontal dispersion, so the sweet spot is wide.
I have the original shipping invoice, owners manual, and boxes/packing materials. These will be packaged to the highest standards for transport.
